# SEO Overview

> The SEO Suite home: a health strip, a ranked list of what to fix next, quick wins, Search Console trends and the scores that sum up the site.

## Overview

The SEO overview is the first page of the SEO Suite. Open it from **SEO Suite → Overview** (`/seo`). It reads everything the suite already stores for the selected site and turns it into one screen: six health numbers, a prioritised **Fix next** list, the keywords closest to page one, the searches you are seen for but not clicked on, long-run trends and a row of scores. Nothing on this page calls an outside data provider; it shows the latest snapshots the scheduled jobs and the Refresh buttons have pulled.

The stamp beside the header shows when the organic keywords, the backlinks and the site audit were last refreshed.

<Note>
Included from **Pro**. On Starter the SEO overview shows a locked preview with an upgrade link. See [Choosing your plan](/billing/choosing-your-plan).
</Note>

## The health strip

Six numbers across the top. Each one is a link to the page that explains it.

| Number | What it shows | Opens |
| - | - | - |
| **On-page score** | The technical score (0 to 100) from the last completed crawl, with the error and warning counts under it. Reads "no audit yet" until an audit has run. | Site audit |
| **Organic keywords** | Keywords the site ranks for in Google's top 100, the change since the previous refresh, and how many sit in the top 10 and the top 3. | Keywords → Organic keywords |
| **Est. traffic / month** | Estimated monthly visits from Google organic, worked out from the keyword positions, with the change since the previous refresh. | Keywords → Organic keywords |
| **Tracked keywords** | How many of your position-tracked keywords are in the top 10 at the latest check, out of the total tracked. | Keywords → Keywords |
| **Backlinks** | Live backlinks with the change since the previous check, plus referring domains and the domain rank. | SEO Suite → Backlinks |
| **Google AI Mode** | The share of tracked prompts where Google AI Mode cited the site at the latest check. | AI Search → Google AI Mode |

A number shows a dash until its data has been pulled for the first time.

## Fix next

**Fix next** is a ranked list of what moves the needle, built from the latest crawl, rankings, links, Search Console and AI Mode checks. Up to eight items show, highest priority first. Each item has a button that opens the page where the work happens.

| Badge | Priority | Items |
| - | - | - |
| **Fix now** | High | Pull the first SEO snapshot (nothing stored yet). Fix the page errors the last audit found, naming the top three error types. A keyword rank drop detected in the last 14 days. |
| **Worth doing** | Medium | Keywords ranking 11 to 20 with real volume. Searches with impressions but few clicks. Backlinks lost in the last 30 days. |
| **When you can** | Low | Google AI Mode cites you on only some prompts. Page warnings to tidy (shown when there are no errors). No site audit yet. |

When nothing qualifies, the list reads "Nothing urgent. Keep publishing and let the weekly refresh watch for changes."

## One push from page one

The card beside Fix next lists organic keywords ranking **11 to 20**: the top ten by search volume, then by estimated traffic. These are the classic quick wins. A better page or a few internal links usually moves them onto page one.

| Column | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Keyword** | The keyword, with the URL that ranks for it underneath. |
| **Pos.** | The current Google position. |
| **Volume** | Monthly search volume. |
| Pencil | Opens the agent with this keyword so it can improve the page. |

The full list, with every position range, is under **Keywords → Organic keywords**.

## Seen but not clicked

This card appears when the site has Google Search Console connected and has searches with impressions but few clicks over the **last 28 days**. It lists up to eight searches with at least 50 impressions.

| Column | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Search** | The query people typed. |
| **Impressions** and **Clicks** | Search Console totals for the window. |
| **Avg position** | The average position for that search. |
| **Page** | The page Google showed most. |
| **Action** | **Write** opens the agent to write a dedicated article. **Improve** opens it to improve the article that already targets the search. |

A sharper title or a dedicated article is what turns these into visits. See [Google Search Console](/integrations/google-search-console) to connect a property.

## Trends and scores

Below the lists:

* **Organic keywords**, **Est. organic traffic / month**, **Backlinks** and **Referring domains** as four trend lines. The refresh stores two years of history; how far back the charts go is set by your plan: six months on Starter, a year on Pro, two years on Business.
* **Search clicks and impressions, 16 months**: Search Console totals, monthly beyond six months and weekly below. The latest period is still filling in.
* **Where Search traffic comes from**: clicks and impressions by device, country and search type. A segment with a weak position is where ranking work pays off first.
* **Search + AI visibility**: the unified score out of 100 with its 90-day trend. The breakdown is on [Search + AI](/seo/search-and-ai).
* **Traffic value / month**: what the site's estimated organic visits would cost as search ads, priced from the organic keyword list.
* **Clicks per week in 12 weeks**: the forecast card. It appears on Business, where Forecast is included.
* **Competitor keywords**: the best competitor keyword opportunities for the site, once competitors are set.

## Where Google is checked

The button in the header shows the country and language used for this site, for example **United States · English**. Rankings, Google AI Mode, keyword research and the organic data all use it. Click it to open **Where Google is checked**:

* The badge reads **inferred** until someone picks values, then **chosen**. The inferred country comes from the domain ending: a `.co.uk` site is checked in the United Kingdom, a `.com` site in the United States, or in Spain when the team writes in Spanish. The inferred language is the team's content language.
* Pick a **Country** and a **Language**, then **Save**. New checks use the new values; data already stored is not pulled again.
* **Reset** returns to the inferred values.

## How the data stays fresh

### The first snapshot

When a site is added to a team on Pro or Business, the first SEO snapshot is pulled automatically in the background: organic keywords, backlinks, history, a competitor comparison when competitors are set, and a first site audit. The pages fill in over the first 10 to 30 minutes; until then the overview reads "refresh to fill" and "no audit yet". If the snapshot has not arrived, the **Pull the first SEO snapshot** action at the top of Fix next is the manual fallback: it opens Organic keywords, where one Refresh fills organic keywords, backlinks and history, and then you run a site audit.

### Schedules

After the first snapshot, scheduled jobs keep the data current. Only the features your plan includes run.

| When (UTC) | What runs |
| - | - |
| Daily, 03:15 | Keyword position checks for the tracked keywords due that day (weekly on Starter, every three days on Pro and Business). |
| Daily, 04:30 | The Search + AI visibility score. |
| Every Monday, 04:00 | Organic keywords and the domain overview, backlinks, history, competitors and competitor pages, content health signals, Google AI Mode checks, link prospects. A site nobody has opened for 30 days sits the weekly run out; its daily position checks still run. |
| Monthly, the 1st at 05:00 | Site audit and competitor keywords. |

### Refresh buttons and cooldowns

Each data page has its own **Refresh** button that runs the same pull as the schedule, on demand: Keywords (positions), Organic keywords, Backlinks, Google AI Mode, Competitors (competitor pages) and Link building. A manual refresh costs the same data as a scheduled one, so a kind of data can be refreshed again only once its last run is older than your plan's gap:

| Plan | Gap between manual refreshes |
| - | - |
| Starter | 24 hours |
| Pro | 6 hours |
| Business | 2 hours |
| Enterprise | 1 hour |

The gap applies to keyword positions, backlinks, Google AI Mode, competitor pages and link prospects. Press Refresh too soon and the page tells you when the next one is available, for example: "Keyword positions were refreshed about 2 hours ago. Pro can refresh again every 6 hours; the next one is in about 4 hours. Scheduled checks keep running meanwhile." Checking a keyword you have just added is not a refresh and never waits.

<Tip>
Refreshes and audits draw on a daily data budget per site. If a pull stops early, let the next day's schedule pick it up or press Refresh again the next day.
