# Reports

> Client-ready SEO reports for the last week or month: a written summary and ten sections, emailed on a schedule, shared by link or PDF, white-labelled on Business.

## Overview

**SEO Suite → Reports** (`/seo/reports`) builds one report per period from the data the SEO module already holds: Search Console, tracked rankings, organic keywords, backlinks, the last site audit, AI visibility, Google AI Mode, traffic value, alerts and published articles. Every report is frozen the moment it is generated, so a link sent to a client never changes under them.

<Note>
  Included from **Pro**. White-label branding is **Business**.
</Note>

## Report sections

Each report opens with a summary: a headline, three wins, three risks and three next actions, written from the report's own numbers and nothing else. Below it, the sections you selected:

| Section | What it contains |
| - | - |
| **Search Console** | Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position against the previous period, plus the five queries and five pages gaining and losing the most clicks. |
| **Tracked rankings** | Tracked keywords, how many sit in the top 3 and top 10, how many moved up or down, and the biggest gains and drops. |
| **Organic overview** | Organic keywords, estimated monthly visits, top 3 and top 10 counts with their change, and the organic keywords climbing fastest. |
| **Backlinks** | Backlinks and referring domains with their change, links new and lost in the period, and the strongest new referring domains. |
| **Site audit** | Health score with its change, errors, warnings, pages crawled and the date of the last crawl. |
| **AI visibility** | Visibility percentage with its change, brand mentions and prompts tracked. |
| **Google AI Mode** | Citation rate with its change, and cited versus checked prompts. |
| **Traffic value** | What the organic traffic would cost as Google Ads clicks per month, estimated visits, and the keywords with the most upside at a top 3 position. |
| **Signals** | Alerts flagged during the period, counted by severity, with the latest ten listed. |
| **Articles published** | How many articles went live in the period, with their titles. |

A section with no data for the period is left out of the report rather than shown empty.

## Periods

* **Weekly** reports cover the previous Monday to Sunday.
* **Monthly** reports cover the previous calendar month.

Every number is compared with the equally long period right before it. Dates are UTC.

## Generate now

Pick **Last week** or **Last month** at the top right and click **Generate now**. The report is built, saved to **Past reports** and shown in a preview drawer: exactly what the share link and the email show. From the drawer you can **Copy share link**, **Open** it, or **Email** it to the recipients of the matching schedule.

A generated report uses the sections and white label of the schedule with the same cadence when one exists; otherwise all sections and Sight branding.

## Schedules

The **Schedules** card holds one **weekly** and one **monthly** schedule per site. Weekly reports go out **Mondays at 08:00 UTC**; monthly reports on the **1st at 08:00 UTC**. A schedule needs at least one recipient to send, never sends twice for the same period, and stamps **last sent** after each delivery.

Click **Add weekly schedule** or **Add monthly schedule**, or **Edit** an existing one:

| Field | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Cadence** | Weekly or monthly. Each cadence is its own schedule. |
| **Send automatically** | The on/off switch; the same switch sits on the schedule row to pause it. |
| **Recipients** | Up to 20 email addresses, one per line or comma separated. |
| **Sections** | Which of the ten sections to include; at least one. |
| **White label** | Brand name, logo URL, accent colour and whether to hide "Powered by Sight". Business only. |

**Delete** removes the schedule; past reports stay.

## Past reports

Every generated report is listed with its period, cadence, headline and when it was generated. Per row:

* **View** opens the share page.
* **Copy link** copies the share link.
* **Send again** emails the report to the schedule's recipients.
* **PDF** opens a PDF of the report, when PDF rendering is available.

The list can be searched, sorted and exported as CSV.

## Share links and PDF

A share link opens the report without a login and is never indexed by search engines. The page carries a **Print** button and, when available, a **Download PDF** button that renders the page as a PDF the moment it is opened. The link, the PDF and the email all show the same frozen report.

Emails are sent one per recipient with the subject "*Brand* SEO report: *period*", where the brand is the white-label brand name or the site name.

## White label

<Note>
  White label is a **Business** feature. On Pro a schedule saves with Sight branding whatever is entered, and a report generated after a downgrade uses Sight branding too.
</Note>

| Setting | Rule |
| - | - |
| **Brand name** | Up to 80 characters; replaces the site name in the header, the subject line and the footer. |
| **Logo URL (https)** | An `https://` image URL of up to 500 characters, shown instead of the brand name at the top. If the image fails to load the brand name shows instead. |
| **Accent colour** | A hex colour such as `#4f46e5`; colours headings and rules. |
| **Hide "Powered by Sight"** | Removes the footer line. |

White label applies to the share page and the email body. Emails are still sent from Sight's notification address.

## Exports

The **Exports** card downloads whole tables as CSV, up to 50,000 rows each: **Tracked rankings history**, **Organic keywords**, **Backlinks**, **Audit issues (last crawl)**, **Pages (Search Console, 90 days)**, **Signals** and **Keyword topics**.

## Frequently asked questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Can I change a report after it is generated?">
    No. Reports are frozen so a shared link stays stable. Change the schedule's sections or branding and generate a new one.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why is a section missing from my report?">
    Either it is not selected on the schedule, or there was no data for the period (for example no site audit yet, or no Search Console connection).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Who writes the summary?">
    An AI model writes the headline, wins, risks and actions from the report's numbers only. When that fails, a plain summary built from the same numbers takes its place.
