Account Issues

I can't log in to my account

Try these steps:

  1. Make sure you're using the correct email address
  2. Try the "Forgot Password" link to reset your password
  3. If you signed up with Google, use the "Sign in with Google" button
  4. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  5. Try a different browser or incognito mode

I didn't receive my verification email

Check these common causes:

  • Look in your spam/junk folder
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Wait a few minutes – emails can be delayed
  • Click "Resend Verification Email" from the login page
  • Add noreply@trysight.ai to your contacts

Article Generation Issues

Article generation failed

If an article fails to generate:

  1. Check the error message in the article details
  2. Try generating again – temporary issues can occur
  3. Ensure your subscription is active
  4. Verify you haven't reached your monthly article limit
  5. Try a different keyword or topic

Article is stuck "Generating"

If generation seems frozen:

  • Wait at least 15 minutes – some articles take longer
  • Refresh the page to update the status
  • Check your internet connection
  • If still stuck after 20 minutes, contact support

Article quality not as expected

To improve article quality:

  • Add more specific custom instructions
  • Provide clearer topic/keyword
  • Use the AI Content Editor to refine
  • Check your site's AI settings for tone and style
  • Ensure business information is accurate

CMS Integration Issues

WordPress won't connect

Common WordPress connection issues:

  • HTTPS required: WordPress Application Passwords need HTTPS
  • Check credentials: Verify username and application password
  • REST API: Ensure REST API isn't disabled by a security plugin
  • Firewall: Check if your host blocks API requests
  • Try regenerating: Create a new Application Password

Webflow sync not working

For Webflow issues:

  • Token expired: Try disconnecting and reconnecting
  • Field mapping: Verify your collection fields are mapped correctly
  • Collection schema: Ensure your CMS collection has required fields
  • Publishing: Remember to publish your Webflow site after syncing

Articles sync but don't appear on site

Check these settings:

  • Verify the publish status setting (might be set to "Draft")
  • Clear your CMS cache if using caching plugins
  • Check the correct blog/collection is selected
  • Look in your CMS admin for the synced article
  • For Webflow, ensure you've published the site

AI Visibility Issues

No data showing in AI Visibility

If you don't see visibility data:

  • Add tracked prompts first – data requires prompts
  • Wait 24 hours after adding prompts for first results
  • Check if prompts are configured correctly
  • Verify your plan supports the AI models you expect

Prompt not being tracked

Verify prompt setup:

  • Ensure the prompt is saved (not just typed)
  • Check you haven't exceeded your prompt limit
  • Wait for the next daily refresh
  • Try editing and saving the prompt again

Indexing Issues

Google Search Console won't connect

GSC connection troubleshooting:

  • Verify the Google account has access to the GSC property
  • Ensure the property is verified in GSC
  • Check you're selecting the correct property
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting

IndexNow setup not working

Verify IndexNow configuration:

  • Check the API key file is accessible at your domain root
  • File must contain only the API key (no extra text)
  • Test the URL directly: yoursite.com/[key].txt
  • Ensure no caching is interfering with the file

Sitemap not being detected

If your sitemap isn't found:

  • Verify sitemap URL is correct in Site Settings
  • Check sitemap is publicly accessible
  • Validate sitemap XML format
  • Try manually entering the sitemap URL

Billing Issues

Payment failed

If your payment fails:

  1. Check your card hasn't expired
  2. Verify sufficient funds/credit limit
  3. Update your payment method in Billing settings
  4. Contact your bank if cards are being declined
  5. Try a different payment method

I was charged the wrong amount

Charges may include:

  • Prorated charges from plan upgrades
  • Plan changes taking effect
  • Multiple billing cycles if payment was delayed

Review your invoice history in Billing. Contact support if something seems incorrect.

Performance Issues

Dashboard loading slowly

To improve performance:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Clear browser cache
  • Try a different browser
  • Disable browser extensions temporarily

Features not loading

If certain features aren't working:

  • Hard refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R)
  • Clear browser cache and cookies
  • Check browser console for errors
  • Try logging out and back in
  • Disable ad blockers or privacy extensions
