Sight AI's bulk article generation feature allows you to generate multiple articles simultaneously from your saved keywords. The AI Auto-Detect feature intelligently analyzes each keyword and automatically configures the optimal article type, category, and author assignment.
Getting Started
To generate articles in bulk:
- Navigate to the Keywords page
- Select the keywords you want to generate articles for
- Click Generate Articles to open the bulk generation modal
AI Auto-Detect
The AI Auto-Detect feature uses advanced AI to analyze your keywords and automatically determine the best configuration for each article. This saves significant time when generating multiple articles.
What It Detects
When you click Auto-Detect with AI, the system analyzes each keyword and configures:
1. Article Type
The AI determines the best content format based on keyword intent:
| Type | Best For | Example Keywords |
|---|---|---|
| Listicle | Comparisons, collections, tool roundups | "best CRM software", "top marketing tools" |
| Step-by-Step Guide | Tutorials, how-to content, processes | "how to set up Google Analytics" |
| Explainer | Concepts, definitions, educational content | "what is marketing attribution" |
2. Category Assignment
The AI matches each keyword to the most appropriate category from your available categories (Webflow collections, WordPress categories, Framer collections, or webhook categories).
3. Author Assignment (Optional)
Based on your configured settings, articles can be automatically assigned to authors. Configure this using the settings icon next to the Auto-Detect button.
Author Assignment Settings
Click the gear icon next to the Auto-Detect button to configure how authors are assigned:
| Mode | Behavior | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| No Author | Skip author assignment entirely | Sites without author attribution |
| Single Author | Assign the same author to all articles | Personal blogs, single-author sites |
| Randomize | Randomly distribute among selected authors | Team blogs, multi-author publications |
Author settings are saved per-site and persist across sessions, so you only need to configure them once.

How Detection Works
The AI uses intelligent rules to determine the best article type:
- Listicle signals: Keywords containing "software", "tool", "platform", "comparison", "alternatives", "reviews", "apps", "solutions", or "services"
- Step-by-Step signals: Keywords starting with "how to", "setup", "install", "configure", "create", or "build"
- Explainer signals: Keywords starting with "what is", "benefits of", "understanding", or "why"
Category matching uses semantic analysis to find the most relevant category based on the keyword's topic.
Tips for Best Results
- Group similar keywords - Process keywords with similar topics together for more consistent categorization
- Set up categories first - Ensure your CMS has relevant categories synced for better auto-assignment
- Review before generating - While auto-detect is accurate, a quick review ensures everything matches your expectations
- Use author randomization - For multi-author blogs, randomize to create natural author distribution
Troubleshooting
Categories Not Being Assigned
If categories aren't being assigned to your keywords:
- Ensure your CMS integration is connected and synced
- Check that you have categories with descriptive names
- The AI returns no category if there's no good match — this is intentional
Authors Not Appearing in Settings
The author list comes from your CMS integrations:
- For WordPress: Authors are synced from your WordPress site
- For Webflow: Authors come from your Webflow CMS collection
- Sync your site to refresh the available authors
Auto-Detect Button Not Working
- Ensure at least one keyword is selected
- Check your internet connection
- Try refreshing the page and selecting keywords again
