Overview
After creating your account, the first step is to add your website to Sight AI. This allows the platform to generate content tailored to your site, track your AI visibility, and submit new content to search engines.
Adding a New Site
- From your dashboard, click "Add Site" in the sidebar or on the dashboard
- Enter your website URL (e.g.,
https://example.com) - Sight AI will automatically detect your sitemap and analyze your site
- Follow the prompts to complete the setup
Site Setup Process
During the site setup, you'll be guided through several steps:
1. Sitemap Detection
Sight AI will automatically search for your sitemap at common locations:
/sitemap.xml/sitemap_index.xml/sitemap-index.xml
If your sitemap is at a different location, you can manually enter the URL.
2. Business Information
Provide information about your business to help the AI generate more relevant content:
- Business Name – Your company or brand name
- Industry – The industry or niche your site operates in
- Target Audience – Who your content is for
- Competitors – Key competitors in your space (optional)
3. CMS Integration (Optional)
Connect your CMS to enable automatic content publishing:
You can skip this step and set up integrations later from the Integrations page.
Site Settings
After adding your site, you can configure additional settings:
AI Content Settings
- Default Article Type – Choose between Explainer, Listicle, or Step-by-Step
- Writing Style – Set the tone and style for generated content
- Custom Instructions – Add specific instructions for all articles
- Internal Linking – Configure how internal links are added
Indexing Settings
- Google Search Console – Connect for automatic sitemap submission
- IndexNow – Enable real-time URL submission to Bing
- Automatic Submission – Toggle automatic URL submission for new content
Managing Multiple Sites
If you have multiple sites, you can switch between them using the site selector in the sidebar. Each site has its own:
- Articles and content queue
- Keyword research pool
- AI visibility tracking
- Integration settings
- Autopilot configuration
