- Article content and images are sent to your CMS
- Article is created based on your CMS settings
- Status updates to "Published"
- Indexing notifications are sent (if enabled)
Scheduling Considerations
- CMS must be connected – Ensure your CMS integration is active
- Future dates only – Cannot schedule for past dates
- Timezone awareness – Times are in your account timezone
- Queue processing – Articles publish within a few minutes of scheduled time
Troubleshooting
Article Didn't Publish
- Check that your CMS integration is connected
- Verify the CMS credentials are still valid
- Look for error messages in the article details
- Try manually syncing to identify issues
Published at Wrong Time
- Verify your account timezone settings
- Check the scheduled time was set correctly
- Note that publishing may have a few minutes delay
Best Practices
- Schedule during peak hours – When your audience is most active
- Spread out publications – Don't publish all at once
- Review before scheduling – Proofread articles first
- Check CMS connection – Ensure integration is working
- Plan a week ahead – Build a content buffer
