Overview
Each Sight AI subscription includes one site by default. If you manage multiple websites, you can add extra sites to your account with Site Licensing. Each additional site costs $29/month (or $278/year with annual billing) and is billed alongside your subscription.
Site License Pricing
All plans include 1 site. Additional sites are available as add-ons:
| Billing | Price per Site | Savings |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $29/month | — |
| Annual | $278/year (~$23/month) | 20% off |
Site licenses automatically match your subscription billing interval. If you're on an annual plan, your site licenses are billed annually with the same 20% discount.
How Site Licensing Works
- Shared article pool – All sites share your plan's article limit
- Independent integrations – Each site has its own CMS connection
- Separate tracking – AI visibility tracking is per-site
- Monthly billing – Site fees are added to your subscription
Adding a New Site
- Go to Team Settings
- Click "Add Site"
- Enter your website URL and details
- If you've reached your site limit, you'll be prompted to purchase a site license
- Complete payment through Stripe
- Your new site is ready to configure
Billing for Additional Sites
Site licensing is billed as follows:
- Prorated charges – Adding a site mid-cycle charges a prorated amount
- Recurring fee – $29/month (or $278/year) is added to your subscription renewal
- Combined invoice – Site fees appear on your regular subscription invoice
- Annual billing – Site licenses are billed annually if your plan is annual
Example
If you're on the Pro plan ($199/month) and add 2 extra sites:
- Base subscription: $199
- 2 additional sites: $58 ($29 × 2)
- Total monthly cost: $257
Managing Site Licenses
You can have more sites than licenses and assign licenses to the sites that need them most.
Assigning a License to a Site
- Go to Billing
- Find the Sites section
- Click "Assign License" next to an unlicensed site
Removing a License from a Site
- Go to Billing
- Find the site in the Sites section
- Click "Remove License"
Note: Your first site always keeps its license and cannot be unlicensed.
What Happens to Unlicensed Sites
Sites without a license remain in your account but have limited functionality:
- No article generation – Cannot create new AI articles
- No AI Visibility – Tracking and opportunities are paused
- No Autopilot – Automated generation won't run
- No CMS publishing – Cannot publish articles to this site
- Data preserved – Existing articles and history remain accessible
To reactivate an unlicensed site, either assign an available license to it or purchase additional site licenses.
Deleting a Site
- Go to Team Settings
- Find the site you want to remove
- Click Site Settings
- Click "Delete Site"
- Confirm deletion
Note: When you delete a site:
- The site license becomes available for other sites
- All site data (articles, visibility history) is permanently deleted
- To reduce the number of licenses you pay for, go to Billing and adjust your site license quantity
What Each Site Gets
Each site on your account has access to:
- CMS Integration – WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify, or Wix
- AI Visibility Tracking – Track how AI models mention this site
- Tracked Prompts – Site-specific prompt tracking (shared from plan pool)
- Content Opportunities – Site-specific content suggestions
- Sitemap Indexing – Google Search Console and IndexNow integration
- Article Publishing – Publish generated articles directly to this site
Shared vs Site-Specific Resources
| Resource | Shared Across Sites | Per Site |
|---|---|---|
| Articles per month | ✓ Shared pool | |
| Extra articles | ✓ Shared pool | |
| Tracked prompts | ✓ Shared limit | |
| CMS integration | ✓ Separate | |
| AI visibility data | ✓ Separate | |
| Sitemap monitoring | ✓ Separate | |
| Keywords | ✓ Separate |
For Agencies
Site licensing is ideal for agencies managing multiple client websites:
- Cost-effective – $29/site is much cheaper than separate subscriptions
- Centralized billing – One invoice for all client sites
- Flexible allocation – Distribute articles across client sites as needed
- Easy scaling – Add or remove sites as clients change
- License flexibility – Move licenses between client sites as projects shift
Tip: Consider the Advanced ($499) or Premium ($999) plans for agencies with high content needs across multiple sites.
Common Questions
Can I add sites during my trial?
Your trial includes one site. To add additional sites, you must first upgrade to a paid plan. Once you're on a paid subscription, you can purchase extra site licenses.
Can I move articles between sites?
Articles are generated for a specific site but can be manually copied. The article limit is shared across all sites, so you can allocate articles however you need.
Do site licenses support annual billing?
Yes, if you're on an annual plan, site licenses are also billed annually with the same 20% discount applied ($278/year instead of $348/year).
What happens to sites if I downgrade?
Your sites remain in your account. Site licensing is independent of your plan tier – you can have multiple sites on any plan. However, if a site doesn't have a license assigned, it will be in "unlicensed" status with limited functionality.
Is there a limit to how many sites I can add?
There's no hard limit on the number of sites you can add. Contact us if you need to manage a very large number of sites.
Can I have more sites than licenses?
Yes! You can add sites to your account without purchasing licenses for all of them. Unlicensed sites remain accessible but cannot generate articles or use AI Visibility. This is useful for temporarily parking a site or rotating between client projects.
