Automatic Submission
With GSC connected, Sight AI automatically:
- Monitors your sitemap for new URLs
- Notifies Google when new content is detected
- Requests indexing for new articles (within Google's limits)
- Re-submits sitemap when significant changes occur
How It Works
Sitemap Monitoring
Sight AI periodically checks your sitemap for new URLs:
- Hourly checks – New content detected within an hour
- Daily full sync – Complete sitemap comparison
- Real-time on publish – Immediate notification when you publish via Sight AI
Indexing Requests
When new content is detected:
- Sight AI identifies the new URL
- Sends an indexing request to Google via the API
- Tracks the request status
- Reports success or any issues
Note: Google limits indexing requests. Sight AI manages this automatically to stay within limits.
Status Dashboard
View your GSC integration status:
- Connection Status – Whether GSC is connected
- Sitemap Status – Last submission date and status
- Recent Submissions – URLs recently submitted for indexing
- Indexed Count – Number of URLs Google has indexed
Requirements
- Verified GSC Property – Your site must be verified in Google Search Console
- Valid Sitemap – Your site needs a valid XML sitemap
- Google Account Access – The account must have access to the GSC property
Supported Property Types
Sight AI supports both GSC property types:
- URL-prefix property – e.g.,
https://example.com/ - Domain property – e.g.,
sc-domain:example.com
