Overview
Autopilot is Sight AI's automated content generation feature that generates and publishes high-quality articles every day without any manual intervention. You can configure Autopilot to generate 1 to 30 articles per day based on your content needs. Once configured, Autopilot handles keyword selection, article generation, and CMS publishing automatically.
How Autopilot Works
- Keyword Selection – Autopilot selects the next keyword from your keyword pool
- Article Generation – A full article is generated using your site settings
- Quality Review – The article is checked by our quality systems
- CMS Publishing – The article is published to your connected CMS
This happens automatically each day at your scheduled time.

Configuration Options
Articles Per Day
Control how many articles Autopilot generates each day:
- 1 article/day (default) – Steady, sustainable content growth
- 2-5 articles/day – Accelerated content production
- 6-10 articles/day – Maximum output for aggressive strategies
When you increase the rate, your keyword pool automatically expands to support the higher volume. When you decrease the rate, excess scheduled articles are redistributed to future dates.
Default Article Type
Choose the default article type for Autopilot articles:
- Explainer – Educational, in-depth content
- Listicle – List-based, scannable content
- Step-by-Step – Tutorial and how-to content
- Mixed – Autopilot selects based on keyword intent
Publishing Schedule
Articles are published at consistent times each day. Sight AI uses smart scheduling to distribute articles throughout the day across all sites, ensuring no two sites publish at exactly the same time.
CMS Publishing Settings
Configure how articles are published:
- Publish Status – Published immediately or saved as draft
- Category – Default category for Autopilot articles
- Author – Default author attribution
Keyword Management
Autopilot requires a healthy keyword pool to select topics from.
Keyword Pool
- Autopilot maintains a keyword pool that scales with your articles per day rate
- At 1 article/day, the pool targets 60 keywords (~2-month buffer)
- Higher rates automatically expand the pool (up to 300 keywords at max rate)
- Keywords are automatically refreshed when the pool drops below 50% capacity
- Fresh keywords are researched using your site's topic and industry
Keyword Sources
Keywords come from:
- AI-powered keyword research based on your site
- Keywords you manually add
- Content opportunity suggestions
Keyword Filters
Autopilot automatically filters out:
- Brand terms and competitor names
- Keywords with inappropriate content
- Keywords already used for articles
- Keywords outside your difficulty range
Monitoring Autopilot
