Overview
Keywords → Competitor keywords (/keywords/competitors) pulls the organic keywords of up to ten competitors and compares each one with your own position. It works in two modes. Keywords to win are the searches competitors rank for and you are missing or behind on. Their brand searches are what people look up about a competitor by name, split into the plays you can answer with a page: alternatives, comparisons, pricing and reviews. Both feed an Articles tab that groups keywords into one piece to write each.

The Competitors card holds up to ten domains. Competitors from your AI Visibility setup are included automatically. Type a domain in Add a competitor domain and click Add, or click Suggest from Google to see sites that rank for your keywords and sites that share your search results, each with an Add button. Adding a domain pulls its keywords right away; the X on a row removes it, and its keywords leave at the next analysis. Each row shows Keywords on file (and the competitor’s total), Est. traffic, Missing, Behind, Ahead, Brand searches, when it was Fetched, and a Keywords button that opens its full list.Running the analysis
Analyze competitors (later Refresh) starts a run. For each competitor Sight pulls every organic keyword it ranks for on page one to three with at least 10 searches a month, up to 1,000 keywords by the traffic they bring it, then compares them with your positions. The page updates as each competitor comes in (“Fetching competitor 2 of 3”) and the stamp reads “Analyzed 2 days ago” when done. A manual refresh reuses any competitor fetched in the last 24 hours; the monthly run refreshes everything. If the site’s daily data cap is reached mid-run, the competitors fetched so far are analyzed and the page asks you to refresh again tomorrow for the rest. Your own position for each keyword comes from the best source on file: the latest position check for a tracked keyword, else the organic list, else Search Console (the last 28 days, weighted by impressions, with at least 5 impressions). A keyword you rank 60th for reads Behind, not Missing. The summary tiles
- Keywords to win: open keywords you are missing or behind on, how many of each, the competitor visits a month at stake, and how many were set aside as off-topic.
- Their brand searches: alternatives, comparisons, pricing and reviews people look up about them, and how many more are their own name, login and app searches.
- Easy wins: keywords to win in the Easy difficulty band with 100 or more searches a month.
- Articles to write: groups from competitor pages plus brand plays.
Keywords to win
One row per keyword across every competitor, best score first. Two menus narrow the view: a kind menu with Missing and behind (default), Shared by 2+ competitors, Missing only, Behind only, Ahead, Off-topic and Every keyword, and a status menu with Open, Added, Dismissed and All statuses. When more than 3,000 rows exist, the top 3,000 by score are shown.
Row Actions: Cover the gap (tracks the keyword and opens the agent), Track, Add to list, Open overview and Copy keyword. Select rows for Track N, Add N to list and Copy. Tracking a keyword from here marks its row Added. Dismiss hides a keyword you do not want; pick Dismissed in the status menu to find it again and Restore it. CSV and Copy for AI export the current view.
Their brand searches
Searches that carry a competitor’s name. The play menu reads Worth a page (default: alternatives, comparisons, pricing and reviews), each single play, Brand only (the bare name), Navigational (their login, app and company pages) and Every search, with the same status menu.Articles
Two tables, each row one article to write, expandable to its keywords:- From their content: missing and behind keywords grouped by the competitor page that covers the most of them, with the page, keyword count, volume, their visits, KD, their best position and yours. A group needs at least two keywords.
- About their brands: brand searches grouped per competitor and play into titles such as “Viktor alternatives” or “Viktor pricing”.
All keywords
Everything on file for one competitor, chosen with the select in the toolbar, sorted by the traffic it brings them. Columns add Their position, Their page, Their traffic, You and Standing (Missing, Behind, Ahead, Brand with its play, or Off-topic). The note above the table says when the list was fetched.Brand and off-topic filtering
Competitor lists are full of searches no article of yours can win, so Sight sorts them before scoring:- Your own brand: keywords containing your brand name are flagged with a brand chip and scored down. Hide brands in the Show menu of any keyword table removes brand searches from the view.
- A competitor’s brand: keywords containing a competitor’s name, including longer words built on it and common misspellings, move to Their brand searches and get a play.
- Off-topic: each keyword is scored for relevance against what your site is about, built from its business information, its own keywords, tracked prompts and article titles. Keywords below the line are set aside, kept out of the counts, and shown under the Off-topic view for review.
- Doorway: someone else’s login, account or support search, such as “beenverified login”. Scored down and never grouped into an article.

How is this different from the Competitors tab on the Keywords page?
That tab starts from your tracked keywords: each position check records where the competitors set here land in the top ten. This page starts from the competitor’s full keyword list and finds what you are not tracking at all.
